External Gear Pumps

Our external gear pumps are fixed displacement units with axial clearance compensation, engineered to deliver high volumetric efficiency even under elevated operating pressures. The load-balancing system on the guide bushings ensures long service life, while the low noise emission makes them well-suited for noise-sensitive environments.

Available in three size groups with displacement ranges of up to 9.1 cm³/rev, 27.9 cm³/rev, and 87.6 cm³/rev, with operating pressures up to 250 bar for the standard version and up to 310 bar for the high-pressure (H) variant.

Units can be configured as single or coupled multi-flow groups using a splined connection motion system, with multiple versions available to suit varying application requirements.

Configuration Options

  • Rotation direction: clockwise, anticlockwise, or reversible
  • Shaft end types: tapered keyed with thread (standard), cylindrical keyed, or splined SAE
  • Hydraulic connections: flanged ports (standard), BSP threaded, or UNF threaded
  • Mounting: 4-hole rectangular flange (standard) or SAE 2-hole flange
  • Seal material: NBR for mineral oil service

Installation Notes

The pump can be installed in any shaft orientation. Before initial start-up, ensure the motor rotation direction matches the direction marked on the pump and vent air from the delivery port. Suction line velocity should not exceed 1–2 m/s, and minimum permissible suction pressure is -0.3 bar relative. Radial and axial loads on the shaft are not permitted — use a flexible coupling for motor-pump connection only.
