Configuration Options
- Vane configurations available: sliding vane (standard), flexible vane, swinging vane, rolling vane, and external vane
- Single mechanical seal or stuffing box sealing arrangement
- Compatible with a range of seal materials depending on fluid compatibility
- Bare shaft or baseplate-mounted configurations available
Typical Applications
- LPG and NH₃ bulk transfer and cylinder filling
- Fuel oil transfer and aircraft deicing fluid handling
- Solvent and alcohol handling
- Aerosol propellant transfer
- Refrigerant circulation
Installation Notes
Vane pumps are self-priming and develop good suction vacuum, making them suitable for installations where the pump is positioned above the fluid source. LPG variants are capable of short dry-run periods. Ensure inlet pipework is adequately sized to avoid cavitation, and verify fluid compatibility with vane and seal materials prior to installation. For solvents and low-viscosity fluids, confirm the selected seal type is rated for the specific fluid.
